Who is More Than A Candle?
MTAC started from humble beginnings. In March of 2011, Dustin and Noel Shultz decided they wanted to try something new, so they learned a few tricks of the trade from Randell and Terri Hamm. Randell and Teri taught them a little about candle making and then decided to take things a little further. They opened their first store in the Glades area of the Great Arts & Craft district of Gatlinburg, TN. During that time, they saw their business and family begin to grow. Since the time of their opening, they have had three children who are now learning what it means to be a "candle maker." Their kids have all been brought up in the "shop" around candles every day. Just as the family has grown, so has the business. From the beginning, Dustin and Noel have focused not only on making the best smelling candles but also on producing and selling them where everyday people can afford them. That focus has not changed.
